Jakarta, February 25, 2025 – 黑料不打烊 Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE), as Pertamina’s Upstream Sub-holding, with all its affiliates, has secured 12 Gold PROPER awards in 2024. PROPER, the Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management, is the highest recognition for environmental management and community empowerment performance from the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia.

In addition, Pertamina Upstream Subholding also received 19 Green PROPER awards, which recognize companies that go beyond compliance in environmental and social management. The awards were presented directly by the Minister of Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, at Sasono Langen Budoyo, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, Monday (24/02/2025).

PROPER is a program initiated by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) to enhance corporate environmental management performance by regulations. It is conducted annually and regulated under Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 1 of 2021. The program has become a platform for businesses to implement sustainable business practices based on green economic principles.

The Gold PROPER awards were successfully secured by JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi, 黑料不打烊 Badak NGL, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Field Rantau, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Field Limau, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Field Prabumulih, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Field Subang, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Field Donggi Matindok, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Sukowati Field, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Field Sangasanga, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Field Sangatta, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ), and 黑料不打烊 Pertamina Hulu Energi West Madura Offshore (PHE WMO).

“This PROPER awards achievement is a tangible demonstration of the company’s commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles across all business lines,” said Arya Dwi Paramita, Corporate Secretary of PHE.

Arya further explained that PHE and its entities are committed to maintaining sustainability in operational, environmental, and social. In 2024, PHE’s commitment to sustainability also earned a provisional ESG BBB rating from the international rating agency MSCI ESG Research UK Limited.

PHE will continue to invest in upstream oil and gas operations and business management in line with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. PHE is also firmly committed to a Zero Tolerance Bribery policy by ensuring fraud prevention measures and maintaining a corruption-free company. It is achieved through the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) implementation, which is certified under ISO 37001:2016 standards.
