Jakarta, March 27, 2025 – The President Director of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, with the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, and the President Commissioner of Pertamina, Mochammad Iriawan, officially sent off 1,407 homecoming travelers from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ office court on Thursday morning (27/3).
This free homecoming program is a collaboration between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and several State-Owned Enterprises (SOE), including Pertamina and PGN. For this year’s implementation, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has provided 32 buses with expanded routes, reaching as far as Medan, North Sumatra. Other homecoming routes include various cities across Java Island, ensuring travelers can return to their hometowns safely and comfortably.
“We have ensured that all bus fleets meet safety standards. The drivers have undergone health screenings, including drug tests. Additionally, we have provided complete meals for suhoor and iftar for travelers throughout the journey,” said Bahlil.
In his speech, Minister Bahlil Lahadalia emphasized the importance of energy preparedness during the homecoming period. He stated that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, with State-Owned Enterprises such as Pertamina and PGN, had thoroughly prepared to ensure a secure energy supply.
“We have checked fuel readiness for vehicles and fishermen, as well as electricity and LPG supplies. Currently, fuel stock resilience is 18-21 days, and there are no issues with LPG shortages. We have also conducted direct monitoring of energy distribution in the field to ensure everything runs smoothly,” said Bahlil.
On the same occasion, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, President Director of Pertamina, stated that Pertamina had activated a Task Force (Satgas) to handle the 2025 Ramadan and Eid homecoming period, operating from March 17 to April 13, 2025, to guarantee fuel, LPG, and aviation fuel availability during the homecoming period.
“With these various preparations, Pertamina hopes that the public can enjoy a safe and comfortable homecoming journey without concerns regarding energy availability,” Simon concluded.
