Several 150cc U-15 racers speed up during Race 2 of the 鈥淧ertamina Mandalika Racing Series 2025鈥 National Sportbike Championship held at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, on Sunday (13/04/2025). The event was held over three days from April 11 to 13, 2025.

Record-Breaking Turnout: National Racers Enthusiastically Join the First Round of the 2025 Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series

Jakarta, April 13, 2025 – A total of 136 starters, consisting of Indonesian national racers, took part in the first round of the 2025 Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series National Championship (Kejurnas) for sportbikes. The event was held from April 11–13, 2025, at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

Several young racers, mostly between 10 and 15 years old, participated in the national championship, which had 31 participants, while the adult category had 105 participants.

Abdullah Arby Thoriq, a 10-year-old MS Glow For Men Racing Team racer, competed in the Junior Sport 150cc U-15 class. “This year’s Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series is super exciting. Besides gaining experience, it is also a great opportunity to see many possibilities and meet fellow racers,” he said.

Gerry Salim, an MS Glow For Men Racing Team racer, competed in the National Sport 250cc class. According to him, the 2025 Pertamina Mandalika Series helps support Indonesian racers’ development.

Meanwhile, another racer, Rakha Bima Saktiansyah, a 14-year-old from the 43 Racing School Team who competed in the Sport 250cc class, expressed his appreciation for this year’s event. “The organizers were great, the track was great, the scheduling was also great, and on top of that, I gained lots of experience and learning,” he stated.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, said that the racers’ enthusiasm this year broke records regarding the number of participants.

“This year, the Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series was joined by 136 starters, setting a new record for the highest number of participants. It allows our support to be fully optimized by the racers, and we hope that Indonesia’s racing ecosystem can continue to grow with Pertamina’s support,” he expressed.**
