Jakarta, March 24, 2025 – As a form of care and sharing with others, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero) maximized the Ramadan month with donation programs and Quran recitation (khatam) with the community, orphans, and the underprivileged. Pertamina Group's total donations during Ramadan reached IDR 7.7 billion, distributed to more than 32,000 beneficiaries from various foundations and orphanages.
The Pertamina’s Ramadan peak event features a Quran Recitation (khatam), Donations, and Iftar Gathering at Grha Pertamina, Jakarta, on Friday (3/21). The event was titled "Harmony in Energizing," attended by Pertamina Management and Employees, with hundreds of orphans from 20 foundations across the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek).
President Commissioner of Pertamina, Mochamad Iriawan, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the event. “This moment reminds us that togetherness, care, sharing, and having empathy for others are essential values in life,” Iriawan said.
President Director of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, added that Ramadan is a meaningful time, not only for strengthening faith but also as an opportunity to enhance togetherness, reinforce brotherhood, and build harmony among people.
“At Pertamina, we also interpret this month as a moment to unite spirit and collaboration within Pertamina and with the wider community. This spirit serves as energy for us to continue growing, innovating, and making a real contribution to the nation,” Simon explained.
Simon hopes that Ramadan will be a time for reflection and strengthening commitment to becoming agents of change that positively impacts the surrounding environment.
Throughout Ramadan, Pertamina carried out various activities, including religious programs for internal employee development, such as Islamic preaching (syiar), Quran memorization, and Quran recitation (khatam), to social activities such as charity and community clean-up.
Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that 1,500 Pertamina employees across Indonesia participated in the Quran Recitation (khatam) program. This activity was conducted online, enabling employees in different cities to worship and connect with their colleagues in other cities.
Additionally, the Ramadan Syiar program served as a platform for Pertamina employees to engage in religious preaching through sermons (tausiyah), Quran recitation (tilawah), and Quran memorization. And Pertamina Employee Journalism, allowing employees to share Ramadan stories and report on the spirit of harmony in giving energy to others.
Pertamina also carried out social initiatives, including books and usable toy donations from Pertamina employees, distributed to various reading centers and orphanages.
Another social activity was "Komunitas Bergerak" (Moving Community), a volunteer initiative involving various community groups within Pertamina Group. Employees in Komunitas Bergerak carry out activities such as distributing goods, necessities, funds, and manpower to different regions near Pertamina's operational sites.
“A total of 17 communities, involving more than 1,200 employees, actively participated in this initiative. The Komunitas Bergerak successfully gathered donations distributed to more than 2,200 beneficiaries,” Fadjar explained.
During Ramadan, Pertamina Group's management also visited various operational areas. Through the "Ramadan Safari" program, Pertamina’s Board of Directors and Commissioners directly interacted with Pertamina employees, took part in local Ramadan activities, and ensured Pertamina's operations ran smoothly as part of the 2025 Eid al-Fitr Ramadan Task Force.
