Jakarta, February 21, 2025 - To promote economic equality and drive economic transformation toward Indonesia Emas 2045, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), through Pertamina Foundation, has launched the PFpreneur program to support women Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) entrepreneurs (womenpreneurs) in developing their businesses. This program provides stimulus, mentoring, and entrepreneurial development.  

Since its launch in November, the PFpreneur program has now reached its final curation stage. Of 13,860 MSMEs, 1,053 selected MSMEs have advanced to this final stage after passing two curation stages.

The selection process is conducted online using pre-tests, post-tests, and interviews to assess participants' skills and knowledge following various training sessions and mentorship. Entrepreneurs present their business plans based on the 5Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, and People) and showcase their business profiles through a marketing application.  

"The PFpreneur Pertamina program supports relatively new MSMEs in growing their businesses. Through mentorship and training with expert entrepreneurial mentors, Pertamina helps MSMEs become more competitive and high-quality. It serves as a strong foundation to enhance their competitiveness," explained Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso.  

From the selected MSMEs, 350 MSMEs will be chosen to receive dedicated mentorship under the PFpreneur program and undergo a three-month business incubation phase. Additionally, they will gain access to further development programs such as UMK Academy, legal certification assistance, appropriate technology support, and exhibition opportunities facilitated by Pertamina.  

Vice President of CSR & SMEPP of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Rudi Ariffianto, encouraged MSMEs to stay committed to training and mentorship provided by Pertamina.  

"Achieving competitiveness in MSMEs is a process that is not easy. Many Pertamina-assisted businesses that now meet export standards have gone through long and challenging development journeys. However, do not worry—throughout this process, participants gain valuable knowledge not only from Pertamina but also from the extensive MSME network across Indonesia, helping womenpreneurs scale up their businesses," Rudi said.  

PFpreneur alumni success stories come from MSME "Agromina Fiber," which achieved transactions worth IDR 350 million at Inacraft 2024. Additionally, Mutiara Handycraft, a business run by differently-abled entrepreneurs, secured IDR 200 million in home decor transactions at SMEXPO Yogyakarta 2024. Furthermore, at Trade Expo Indonesia 2024, their transactions reached IDR 500 million, along with exports to Australia. Similarly, Bananania successfully partnered with the Canadian marketplace Archipelago at the same event.  

Director of Operations Pertamina Foundation Yulius S. Bulo hopes the PFpreneur program will help women-led MSME products expand to broader markets.  

"We hope the training provided during the PFpreneur selection process will enhance participants' capacity and competence while expanding their market reach. Over these three months, we provide female entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools to transition from local to regional, national, and even international markets. Most importantly, this program aims to create quality job opportunities, foster entrepreneurship, and develop the creative industry in line with the government's Asta Cita vision," Bulo concluded.
