March 4, 2025 – 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero) continues its efforts to boost the national economy by supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). After undergoing a series of training sessions and selection stages, Pertamina officially inducted 350 women-owned MSMEs (womenpreneurs) into the PFpreneur program on Friday (28/02). The selected MSMEs will receive capital stimulus and proceed to the business incubation stage, enhancing their quality through the Pertamina UMK Academy.
Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Affairs, Nezar Patria, encouraged womenpreneurs fostered by Pertamina to be ready to compete in the national and even global markets. According to him, the training and mentoring provided through the PFpreneur program have already given MSME entrepreneurs valuable business experience to face various challenges.
"This business experience will create its wisdom. MSMEs will be able to identify their problems, from financial and production strategies to the right marketing strategies," Nezar explained.
Nezar added that the current wave of digitalization presents an opportunity for MSMEs to leverage digital platform ecosystems. In support, the Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs is ready to open opportunities for every MSME in Indonesia to participate in the MSME Go Digital training program.
Similarly, the Vice President of Corporate Communication of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, emphasized that empowering MSMEs is part of Pertamina's commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and MSME growth to support Indonesia's economic development. This initiative aligns with the Asta Cita vision of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration, particularly in creating quality job opportunities, promoting entrepreneurship, and developing the creative industry. Additionally, it aims to strengthen human resource development, enhance women's roles, and boost the downstream processing of high-quality Indonesian products to increase domestic value.
"PFpreneur is a Pertamina program that promotes self-reliance and economic growth through entrepreneurship. We hope that the best MSMEs selected in this program will produce outstanding local products with national competitiveness and export-quality standards," said Fadjar.
Last year, one of the graduates of the PFpreneur 2023 program, Exobrooch, became the Champion of the UMK Academy in the "Go Green" category. Exobrooch creates fashion products from fabric scraps and embraces a zero-waste concept. Inspired by local culture, its products have reached a broader market.
Rudi Ariffianto, Vice President of CSR and SMEPP of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), encouraged the top MSMEs to remain enthusiastic and continuously improve their business competitiveness.
"Womenpreneurs are resilient individuals with the motivation to keep growing their businesses. That is why the womenpreneurs selected as the Top 350 in PFpreneur 2025 will be integrated into the Pertamina UMK Academy learning ecosystem, where the main development curriculum includes Go Modern, Go Digital, Go Online, Go Global, and Go Green," Rudi concluded.
The Top 350 MSMEs were selected from 13,860 applicants through a five-stage selection process, including administrative screening and various training sessions on product and professional management, such as pricing strategies, employee and customer management, and modern applications utilization.
President Director of Pertamina Foundation, Agus Mashud S. Asngari, stated that every stage of PFpreneur is considered a training process, as it incorporates pre-tests and post-tests to assess participants' skills and knowledge after receiving extensive training and mentorship.
"The positioning of PFpreneur within Pertamina’s MSME development ecosystem serves as an entry point and a foundation-strengthening initiative. PFpreneur does not set limitations; even ultra-micro businesses can participate. We aim to provide a free learning platform for them to grow and advance together. We hope they can compete in local, national, and even international markets," Agus concluded.
