Pertamina Wins Four Prestigious Awards at the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025

Bangkok, February 7, 2025 – 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero) has once again achieved international recognition by winning four prestigious awards at the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025.

Pertamina won the Indonesia Employee Engagement of The Year award in the energy company category through the Pertamina Talks program, as well as the Indonesia Diversity & Inclusion of The Year award for the Komunitas Bergerak program. Meanwhile, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina EP Cepu secured the Indonesia Executive of the Year and Indonesia Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year awards in the oil and gas company category.

This year’s Asian Management Excellence Awards was participated by 130 companies from seven Asian countries, with more than 100 entries submitted. The winners were selected by an independent panel of judges, consisting of professionals from EY Asia Pacific, Deloitte Southeast Asia, and KPMG Singapore.

The award is organized by Asian Business Review, a leading publication that recognizes companies in Asia for their innovation and breakthroughs in various areas, such as leadership, teamwork, employee engagement programs, health initiatives, innovation programs, as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Pertamina was the only Indonesian company to receive an award in the Diversity and Inclusion Initiative category. The awards ceremony took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on February 6, 2025, and was received by the Manager of Internal Communication of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Sarah.

Pertamina Talks, the program that won the Indonesia Employee Engagement of The Year award, is an internal communication initiative designed to foster high employee engagement through two-way communication between employees, management, and external experts or observers. Since its launch in 2022, Pertamina Talks has collaborated with external media to gain larger public support. The program provides a platform for employees to discuss, share ideas, and voice aspirations constructively, creating a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Meanwhile, the Indonesia Diversity & Inclusion of The Year award achievement was thanks to the successful Komunitas Bergerak program. This initiative is designed to strengthen diversity and inclusion values by encouraging Pertamina employees from various communities to "move", meaning to actively participate in real actions that provide assistance, support, and benefits to surrounding communities. The program also emphasizes the importance of appreciating different backgrounds, interests, and abilities. Since its launch in 2022, Komunitas Bergerak has successfully built an open and equal work environment for all Pertamina employees.
