Pertamina Wins Award as Best Company in Regulatory Compliance in the Oil and Gas Sector
Jakarta, May 10, 2025 – 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero) has received the Sapphire Best Enterprise in Regulatory Compliance Oil and Gas Company award at the 2025 Indonesia Regulatory Compliance Awards (IRCA). The event was organized by Hukumonline on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the JS Luwansa Hotel, Kuningan, Jakarta.
Joko Yuhono, Chief Legal Counsel of Pertamina, stated that the award is a source of pride but also presents a challenge.
"For Pertamina, this is a challenge. It means that Pertamina must maintain its compliance standards, and even improve them, because regulatory compliance is evolving and becoming more complex," said Joko.
The IRCA assessment method consisted of questionnaires regarding company profiles, the completeness of compliance standards such as company guidelines or policies, and company activities related to applicable compliance in Indonesia.
Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, added that compliance standards are a necessity that must be applied within the company. Pertamina has policies regulating everything from employee behavior, such as commitment to the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest, to business process management.
"Pertamina hopes that this recognition will encourage us to improve our compliance further and strengthen compliance implementation supervision across various activities," Fadjar explained.
