Pertamina Supports Outstanding Young Racers in the 2025 Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series

Jakarta, April 11, 2025 – 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero) remains committed to supporting high-achieving young people in the automotive field through the national sportbike racing championship, Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series 2025, from April 11–13, 2025, in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, stated that Pertamina demonstrates its commitment to supporting Indonesian racers’ potential and achievements through national racing competitions.

“Pertamina continues to encourage the young generation to achieve excellence in national racing events, one of which is through continuous competition and development,” Fadjar explained.

Fadjar continued that Pertamina’s support for the 2025 Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series aligns with Asta Cita, as mandated by the government, by strengthening the youth’s role.

“Pertamina provides guidance through training and development programs for young racers to support their achievements at the national level as well as prepare them for success internationally,” Fadjar revealed.

According to him, Pertamina’s support for the younger generation in this national sportbike racing championship is not only limited to the racing community but also extends to students across the country as an effort to increase interest in the racing and automotive world.

The national championship (Kejurnas) Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series 2025, in its first round from April 11–13, 2025, recorded the highest number of participants, 136 starters from various regions of Indonesia. There are four national championship classes, including Sport 150, Sport 250, Supersport 600, and Junior Sport 150 U-15, as well as supporting races such as Underbone 150 U-25, Sport 250 Community, Supersport 600 Community, and Superbike 1000 Community.

The Pertamina Mandalika Racing Series national championship serves as a stepping stone for Indonesian racers before competing at higher levels, as it is held at an international circuit that also hosts races such as the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), World Superbike, and MotoGP.

This championship results from a collaboration between PRIDE Motorsport, MGPA, IMI, and ITDC, with full support from Pertamina and the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia.
