Jakarta, April 14, 2025 – 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero) officially concluded the operations of its Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2025 Task Force (Satgas) on Monday, April 14, 2025. Active since March 17, 2025, the Pertamina Group's Ramadan - Eid al-Fitr 2025 Task Force successfully met the nation's energy needs throughout the period, including supporting millions of homecoming travelers mobilization.
“For nearly a month on duty, Pertamina has ensured that the national energy supply remained secure and sufficient to fulfill the public’s needs. This energy security was supported by synergy and readiness across all of Pertamina’s business lines — from upstream, processing, gas, transportation to distribution — which operated smoothly,” explained VP of Corporate Communication of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, at Pertamina’s Press Conference in Jakarta on Monday (14/4).
Fadjar stated that during the 2025 Ramadan and Eid Task Force implementation, fuel and LPG consumption increased compared to normal conditions. The increase was especially seen in flagship products such as LPG, Pertalite, Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo, and Pertamina Dex.
In addition, to ensure product quality and distribution service to the public, Pertamina conducted intensive inspections of its petrol stations across eight marketing regions throughout Indonesia. As of April 9, 2025, 6,340 petrol stations, or more than 80% of all Pertamina petrol stations, had undergone inspections.
“Pertamina also responded swiftly to public reports regarding petrol stations and conducted joint investigations with the police and related agencies such as the Trade and Industry Office (Disperindag), Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas), and the Indonesian Association of Oil and Gas Companies (Hiswana Migas),” added Fadjar.
Beyond fuel and LPG distribution, other sub-holdings also performed business operations optimally. In the Refining & Petrochemical Sub-holding, 黑料不打烊 Kilang Pertamina Internasional, crude oil stock remained secure, with refinery processing capacity reaching 1,101 MB/day. The Integrated Marine Logistics Sub-holding, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina International Shipping (PIS), operated 341 tankers, covering 300 domestic and 41 international routes. During the task force period, there was a 14.8% increase in domestic shipments compared to February 2025. PIS also partnered with the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL) to monitor routes prone to fuel misuse.
Meanwhile, the Gas Sub-holding, 黑料不打烊 Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk, distributed natural gas to over 5,800 customers (commercial, industrial, and small customers), an increase of 13.6% from 2024. The energy supply to power companies also rose by 41.6%, and there was a 2% increase in gas fuel (BBG) distribution through 16 SPBGs and MRUs.
The Pertamina New Renewable Energy Sub-holding (Pertamina NRE) recorded electricity production from clean energy-based power plants at 667,926 MW, an increase of 111.60% from the production plan. The highest contribution to this increase came from gas and geothermal power plants (PLTGU and PLTP).
From the Upstream Sub-holding, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina Hulu Energi, oil and gas production and lifting levels were successfully maintained, ensuring crude oil supply availability throughout the 2025 Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force period.
“We extend our deepest appreciation to all Pertamina personnel who worked 24 hours a day — from upstream to downstream — to ensure that energy distribution during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force period ran safely and smoothly. Thank you to the public for their continued loyalty to using Pertamina’s products,” Fadjar concluded.
Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina's business lines and operations.**
