Jakarta, April 16, 2025 – 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), through its Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) program, Rumah BUMN (RB), facilitated the certification process for thousands of fostered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at 30 Pertamina RB centers across various regions. This step is part of a long-term strategy to enhance competitiveness and realize sustainable economic welfare.
The certification program, facilitated between January and March 2025, covers various types of business legality and quality standards. Among them, 443 MSMEs have completed Halal Certification, 407 MSMEs have obtained Business Identification Numbers (NIB), 127 MSMEs possess Home Industry Product Certificates (PIRT), four MSMEs have Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) certificates, 329 MSMEs have Environmental Management Statements (SPPL) from the Environmental Agency, and 83 MSMEs have obtained other certifications such as SNI, BPOM, and Tax Identification Numbers (NPWP).
Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, stated that this certification facilitation and mentoring program for MSMEs reflects Pertamina's commitment to empowering MSMEs and enhancing their professionalism.
With 1,393 MSMEs benefitting from the program, Pertamina is helping to create legal, high-quality MSMEs ready to compete in national and global markets.
“Certification is an essential step in the transformation process of MSMEs. Through Rumah BUMN, Pertamina aims to ensure that its fostered MSME players not only survive but also grow and develop sustainably. Certification is a crucial foundation in achieving that goal while supporting the welfare of entrepreneurs and the surrounding communities,” he said.
In addition to business legalization processes, participants received administrative assistance and training on quality standards, branding, and marketing strategies. It aims to form a resilient, innovative, and adaptive MSME ecosystem in response to market developments.
One of the MSME entrepreneurs, Ni Nengah Sudiarti, owner of Lintang Chicken Poultry Slaughterhouse (RPU) from Central Lampung, expressed her gratitude for Pertamina’s support.
“The certification process previously felt complicated and expensive for us. With facilitation from Rumah BUMN, our business is now more prepared to compete and trusted by consumers,” she said.
This initiative aligns with the direction of national development, particularly point three of President Prabowo’s Asta Cita, which is to increase quality employment, encourage entrepreneurship, develop the creative industry, and continue infrastructure development.
