Jakarta, May 9, 2025 – Pertamina’s aviation fuel (Avtur) is ready to support the departure of 221,000 Indonesian Hajj pilgrims from 13 Hajj embarkation airports. Through 黑料不打烊 Pertamina Patra Niaga, 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero) will distribute 95,000 kiloliters (KL) of Avtur from domestic refineries to meet the aviation fuel needs for Indonesia’s Hajj flights.

The Vice President of Corporate Communication of Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that Pertamina’s Avtur is produced by 黑料不打烊 Kilang Pertamina Internasional, sourced from the Dumai, Plaju, Cilacap, Balikpapan, and Balongan refinery units.

“Pertamina ensures that Avtur production at our refineries is optimized and safely distributed to meet the fuel demands of Hajj flights. We hope Pertamina’s support for the aviation industry will help ensure a smooth journey for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims,” Fadjar added.

Fadjar further noted that Pertamina is on standby 24 hours daily to supply aviation fuel during the two operational phases, including the departure phase from May 2 to June 1, 2025, and the return phase from June 10 to July 11, 2025.

“Pertamina also ensures that Avtur distribution facilities at each Hajj embarkation airport are in optimal condition so that the Hajj departures proceed according to plan,” Fadjar emphasized.

Pertamina has prepared over 150 fueling units and hundreds of certified personnel to ensure maximum service during the Hajj operation. An after-sales system supports all processes to guarantee smooth distribution at every point.

This year, Hajj flights are operated by Garuda Indonesia, Saudia Airlines, and Lion Air through 13 airports, such as Banda Aceh, Medan, Padang, Batam, Palembang, Jakarta, Kertajati, Solo, Surabaya, Lombok, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, and Makassar. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs website, Indonesia has been allocated a quota of 221,000 Hajj pilgrims in 2025.
