Cilegon, March 14, 2025 – Ahead of the Eid homecoming (mudik) for Eid al-Fitr 1446 H, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) of Indonesia, Bahlil Lahadalia, along with the President Director of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, directly inspected the energy distribution infrastructure readiness in Banten Province. During this visit, the Minister ensured that fuel and LPG supplies were secure and that services ran optimally at Fuel Terminals, LPG Filling Stations (SPBE), and local petrol stations (SPBU).  

"We have also checked the fuel supply for West Java and Banten, including Pertamax RON 92, Pertalite, and Pertamax Turbo, with stock resilience reaching 20–21 days. So, our fuel stock availability is exceptional," Bahlil said while presenting the visit's findings to the media at the Tanjung Gerem Fuel Terminal on Thursday (March 13).  

During his visit, Bahlil conducted a direct inspection at a petrol station to ensure the fuel supply and quality met the specifications of the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (Dirjen Migas). "At the petrol station earlier, we conducted an inspection together with Lemigas to directly check the fuel. I want to assure the public that there is no need to worry about the quality of the fuel provided by Pertamina, whether RON 90, RON 92, or RON 98," he added.  

Bahlil also stated that the government would continue to monitor and ensure the quality of fuel distributed to the public. "Moving forward, we at ESDM, as the government entity responsible for quality testing through Lemigas, will tighten our controls. Thus, the public does not need to have any doubts," he said.  

Additionally, at the LPG Filling Station (SPBE), he inspected the infrastructure and distribution readiness to ensure that community needs were met optimally, especially in anticipation of increased consumption during Eid al-Fitr. Bahlil also visited a local LPG distributor to confirm stock availability and smooth distribution.  

"I have now ordered that even on holidays—since the holiday period starts a week before Eid and lasts until a week after—we must not take any risks.  We also ask distributors and agents to serve the public during the holidays. So the LPG availability is felt by the people," he concluded.  

The President Director of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, who was also present during the visit, emphasized Pertamina's readiness to handle the surge in energy demand during the Eid homecoming period.  

"We have established the Ramadan and Eid Task Force (SATGAS RAFI) 2025, which will work optimally to ensure a stable energy supply across Indonesia. Pertamina is committed to providing the best services for the public through petrol stations, LPG agents and distributors, and additional service initiatives such as fuel delivery motorbikes deployed at potential congestion points or major homecoming routes," Simon said.  

Meanwhile, the Director of Engineering and Land Infrastructure of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Eduward Adolof Kawi, stated that energy distribution infrastructure readiness has been enhanced to anticipate a surge in consumption.  

"Pertamina Patra Niaga has increased stock at various Fuel Terminals and LPG Depots and ensured the distribution fleet is prepared to maintain a smooth fuel and LPG supply. We have also set up Standby Petrol Stations, Standby Agents and Distributors, and added extra services to support public convenience in accessing energy during the homecoming and Eid period," Edward Adolof Kawi explained.  

With the infrastructure readiness and full support from Pertamina, it is expected that people can travel safely and comfortably while receiving optimal energy services along the homecoming routes.
