Tolitoli, March 23, 2025 – The fuel quality and distribution supervision in Tolitoli Regency is strengthened through cross-sector synergy. On Friday (21/3), members of the Tolitoli Regency DPRD, with Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, local government agencies, law enforcement officers, and Hiswana Migas, conducted a series of inspections from the Fuel Terminal (FT) to several petrol stations in the Tolitoli area.
The activities began with a visit to the Pertamina Tolitoli Fuel Terminal. During the visit, the Pertamina team directly explained the operational processes and fuel quality control measures implemented, from product reception from tanker ships and storage in depot tanks to the distribution mechanism to petrol stations. Pertamina emphasized that all processes follow strict operational standards and quality control measures to maintain the fuel quality and quantity (QQ) received by the public.
After visiting the terminal, the group proceeded to SPBU 74.945.15 Sidoarjo, Tolitoli, to conduct field inspections and take samples of Pertalite fuel. This activity was attended by DPRD member Jemi Yusuf, representatives from Pertamina's FT Tolitoli and Central Sulawesi Sales Area Retail, and overseen by personnel from the Tolitoli Police Department. The fuel samples were then sent to Pertamina's laboratory at the Integrated Terminal (IT) in Makassar, which has been tested and met strict standards to ensure fuel quality complies with official specifications.
"We want to ensure that the public receives high-quality fuel that meets standards. This sampling process is done transparently and tested in Pertamina's official laboratory. It shows our concern for the public not to be disadvantaged by the adulterated fuel circulation," Jemi Yusuf said.
Fuel sampling was not limited to one location; it was also conducted at two other petrol stations, namely 74.945.10 Petrol Station Usman Binol and 74.945.02 Petrol Station Tambun. It was to ensure that fuel distribution in the Tolitoli area meets quality standards and does not experience degradation during the distribution process.
Area Manager of Communication, Relations & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sulawesi, Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw, stated that Pertamina is open to synergy and joint supervision to maintain public trust.
"We welcome this synergy. Pertamina ensures that every stage of fuel distribution, from reception to delivery to gas stations, follows strict operational standards and quality control measures. We are open to joint supervision to maintain public trust," said Fahrougi.
Pertamina Patra Niaga will continue to strengthen cooperation with local governments, DPRD, and law enforcement agencies to ensure the quality and security of energy distribution in Tolitoli and surrounding areas.**
