Jakarta, February 5, 2025 – Coordinating Minister of Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas), and Minister of Trade, Budi Santoso, inspected the 3 kg LPG stock at a sub-depot near Klender Market, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/2/2025), with Director of Logistics and Infrastructure of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Alfian Nasution, Regional Marketing Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo, and Director of Risk Management, Rahman Pramono Wibowo.
Zulhas stated that the 3 kg LPG distribution runs smoothly, providing public convenience.
"Alhamdulillah, the 3 kg LPG supply is stable again after restoring the President’s directive to its original state," Zulhas said while inspecting several food commodities and 3 kg LPG prices at Klender Market, East Jakarta, on Wednesday (5/2/2025).
Zulhas also reminded retailers with sub-depot status not to manipulate the 3 kg LPG prices or stock availability.
"3 kg LPG is essential for many people’s livelihoods, so we must ensure it is properly regulated. No one should exploit this situation," Zulhas emphasized.
At the same event, Abdullah, a retailer who has become a sub-depot operator in the Klender Market area, appreciated the new policy, which allowed him to resume selling 3 kg LPG as usual.
"Alhamdulillah, after transitioning from a retailer to a sub-depot, the supply is running smoothly again," he said.
Abdullah added that he is grateful the distribution has returned to normal. "With this new policy and the sub-depot system, supply has become more stable. Stock is available and sufficient," he added.
Separately, the Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Heppy Wulansari, stated that conditions have gradually returned to normal since the retailers to sub-depots transition.
"We continue to monitor field conditions to ensure that 3 kg LPG reaches the sub-depots so that the public can purchase it as needed," Heppy said.
