Jakarta, February 25, 2025 – Pertamina Group once again proves its commitment to sustainability by winning 36 Gold PROPER and 93 Green PROPER awards at the 2024 Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management (PROPER) Awards, organized by the Ministry of Environment/Environmental Management Agency of the Republic of Indonesia at Sasono Langen Budoyo, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, on February 24, 2025.  

With this achievement, Pertamina further strengthens its position as a leader in sustainable environmental management.  

President Director of Pertamina, Simon Aloysius Mantiri, also personally received the Green Leadership Utama award from the Minister of Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq. This award recognizes leadership and innovation in environmental protection and community welfare management, as well as the ability to provide solutions to the Extraordinary Turnaround or five priority issues in saving the planet and humanity, namely ending poverty, reducing inequality, empowering women, establishing a healthy and sustainable food system, and transitioning to clean energy.  

In his speech, the Minister of Environment, Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, expressed high appreciation for companies achieving high environmental compliance standards.  

"It is not something that can be easily achieved. Once again, we extend our highest appreciation to the companies that have complied with or exceeded compliance standards. It is not easy. And we sincerely acknowledge and commend those of you who have reached this level. PROPER is not just an evaluation but also part of increasing public participation in environmental protection and management," he said.  

Furthermore, Hanif emphasized that PROPER is now used as a basis for corporate decision-making in assessing management performance and has become part of the green taxonomy for corporate operations.  

"Once again, thank you to the corporate leaders who have laid the foundations for evaluating corporate management performance and environmental compliance as part of corporate sustainability assessment," he added.  

Meanwhile, Lelin Eprianto, SVP of HSSE Pertamina, emphasized that this achievement results from the collaboration of the entire team in the Holding and Subholding. With the increase in Gold PROPER awards from 34 to 36 and Green PROPER awards from 76 to 93, Pertamina further strengthens its position as an energy company responsible for the environment and the communities around its operational areas.  

"This award also demonstrates that Pertamina's long-term efforts in running a business not only focused on profit but also contributing to the environment and society have received national recognition," Lelin said.  

Similarly, Vice President of Corporate Communication Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that Pertamina continues to improve environmental performance and community empowerment programs.  

"Pertamina innovates by prioritizing eco-innovation and social innovation to enhance program sustainability and improve community welfare," Fadjar explained.  

In this PROPER award, in addition to the Green Leadership award once again achieved by the President Director of Pertamina, a proud achievement in the Green Leadership Madya category was also attained by two of Pertamina's subsidiaries, 黑料不打烊 Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk and 黑料不打烊 Badak NGL.
