Jakarta, March 28, 2025 – As the peak of the Lebaran homecoming season approaches, Pertamina ensures that the fuel quality sold has been tested according to government standards and guarantees stock availability throughout the holiday travel period.
Fadjar Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication (VP Corcom) of Pertamina, assured the public not to worry, as the company has optimally prepared all operational lines, from production to distribution.
Based on inspections at petrol stations, the octane ratings of tested fuels have shown results that meet specifications.
"The octane ratings recorded were 90.4 for Pertalite, 92.37 for Pertamax, 97.42 for Pertamax Green, and 98.33 for Pertamax Turbo. This proves that Pertamina's fuel quality meets standards and has been tested by Lemigas, a certified official institution," said Fadjar at Pertamina’s office in Jakarta on Thursday (27/3).
In addition to ensuring fuel quality, Pertamina has also activated the Ramadan and Eid Task Force (Satgas RAFI) from March 17, 2025, to April 13, 2025, to maintain energy supply resilience.
"We ensure that fuel and LPG stocks remain secure. Therefore, the public does not need to worry about their supply during their homecoming trips," he added.
As an additional service, Pertamina has also deployed mobile fuel delivery personnel for travelers who run out of fuel along the way. "Travelers facing fuel shortages can contact call center 135, and our mobile fuel team will come directly to the location without additional charges—only the cost of the fuel purchased," he explained.
Four Pillars of the Ramadan and Eid Task Force Services
Pertamina’s spokesperson, Ratih Triutami Wijayanti, explained that the 2025 Ramadan and Eid Task Force provides four main service categories for the public: energy services, priority area services, promotional services, and additional services.
The first pillar is energy services. Pertamina ensures continuous fuel and LPG distribution across various sectors, including industries, households, land, sea, and air transportation. The company has also thoroughly inspected fuel facilities, fuel transport trucks, and truck drivers’ health to ensure safe energy distribution.
The second pillar is priority area services. Pertamina has taken measures to anticipate supply issues in small island regions that may experience disruptions due to extreme weather conditions.
"We have built up fuel stock since 14 days before Eid and added modular tanks at petrol stations located on small islands. Additionally, we are coordinating with local governments and working with the Indonesian Navy (KRI) to assist in transporting fuel or LPG if needed," said Ratih.
The third pillar is promotional services. Pertamina offers various attractive promotions for travelers, for homecoming trips and return journeys. These promotions, available through the MyPertamina app, include discounts on lubricant purchases, Bright Store products, and flight tickets via Pelita Air Service. Additionally, there are special deals for hotel stays at Patra Jasa and discounted aviation fuel prices at 37 airports during Ramadan and Eid.
The fourth pillar is additional services. To enhance travelers’ comfort, Pertamina has set up Serambi MyPertamina at various strategic locations, including highway rest areas, airports, seaports, and tourist spots. These facilities offer various services, including massage, barbershops, and nursery rooms.
"We want to provide extra comfort for travelers. For instance, those who want to freshen up before meeting their families can use the barbershop service at Serambi MyPertamina," Ratih explained.
Moreover, Pertamina has prepared 1,832 petrol stations operating 24 hours, fuel services and standby kiosks at 57 locations, and LPG standby agents at 5,801 locations. For easy distribution, 211 fuel transport trucks are on standby, with 200 mobile fuel personnel ready to assist travelers who need fuel.
"Pertamina is not just an energy provider but also a companion for the journey of all travelers," Ratih stated.
Through these various efforts, Pertamina is committed to supporting smooth homecoming travel and ensuring the comfort and safety of the public during Ramadan and Eid 2025.
Pertamina, as a leading company in the energy transition, is committed to supporting the Net Zero Emission 2060 target by continuously promoting programs that directly impact the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement. All these efforts align with Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation across all Pertamina's business lines and operations.
