Jakarta, March 29, 2025 – Eid al-Fitr is a highly anticipated moment for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) as it increases demand and purchasing power for various products. Through the PFpreneur program, Pertamina's fostered MSMEs experienced an increase, namely Aluna Desserts and IMAGO Raw Honey, which specialize in creamy desserts and superfoods made from 100% wild honey.
Owner of Aluna Desserts, Isti Nazilah, a 2024 PFpreneur participant, revealed that revenue during Eid al-Fitr increased fivefold compared to regular months.
"Alhamdulillah, our revenue this Ramadan is around IDR 45 million due to a high volume of hampers and corporate orders, compared to the usual monthly average of IDR 9 million," said Isti on Saturday (03/29).
Similarly, the owner of IMAGO Raw Honey and a 2023 PFpreneur participant, Shinta Aviani, also experienced a threefold increase in orders.
"During Ramadan, orders have tripled. We have already shipped around 600 packs, and some are still scheduled for delivery after Eid," Shinta said.
While preparing hampers, PFpreneur participants join an advanced mentoring program through Business Incubation, which runs from March 11 to June 9, 2025.
During the program, MSMEs receive six modules covering digital-based business fundamentals, MSME digitalization, digital-based business planning, digital marketing strategies, business profile creation, and business plans.
Three methods are applied in the program: coaching, consulting, assistance, revenue monitoring, and field visits. In the coaching method, MSMEs are grouped with a mentor and receive online training, with the flexibility to consult at any time.
After the coaching sessions, MSMEs receive assistance and are required to submit revenue reports to track progress and evaluate the mentoring outcomes. Lastly, MSME visits are part of the business incubation program's monitoring and evaluation (M&E).
"Double the workload, double the benefits, because not only does our revenue grow, but our capacity also increases. We can immediately apply the knowledge gained, which helps us manage orders efficiently without feeling overwhelmed," Isti added.
President Director of Pertamina Foundation, Agus Mashud S. Asngari, stated that as the implementer of the PFpreneur program, Pertamina Foundation provides business incubation to address challenges frequently faced by MSMEs.
"MSMEs are the backbone of Indonesia’s economy and need support amid intense competition. PFpreneur not only offers financial stimulus but also business incubation. With this incubation, we hope they can reach a wider customer base while optimizing operational costs," Agus said.
Agus added that the PFpreneur business incubation is to strengthen the foundation of digital entrepreneurship.
"We provide intensive basic training with materials aligned with the competency standards of the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). The goal is for MSMEs to build a strong foundation in digital entrepreneurship, making it easier for them to join Pertamina’s subsequent mentoring programs through the MSME Academy, which offers more in-depth materials," Agus added.
PFpreneur is one of Pertamina’s programs implemented by the Pertamina Foundation to develop women’s entrepreneurship based on modern and competitive business management in crafts, fashion, culinary, and agriculture. In 2024, the program selected the TOP 350 MSMEs from 13,860 applicants. The chosen MSMEs receive capital stimulus and advance to the business incubation stage to enhance their quality through the Pertamina MSME Academy.
This program aligns with the government’s Asta Cita initiative to create quality jobs, promote entrepreneurship, and develop the creative industry, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.**
