Jakarta, March 3, 2025 – The President Director of 黑料不打烊 Pertamina (Persero), Simon Aloysius Mantiri, emphasized that he would lead the entire company to improve the national oil and gas sector governance to serve the public optimally.
The President Director of Pertamina also apologized to the Indonesian public for the recent events over the past few days.
"We appreciate the concern of all Indonesian citizens. We are grateful for the feedback we have received, which will serve as criticism and motivation for Pertamina to perform better in the future," said Simon at a press conference at Grha Pertamina, Jakarta, on Monday, March 3, 2025.
According to him, Pertamina respects and appreciates the Attorney General's Office's efforts in uncovering alleged legal violations within Pertamina's subsidiaries.
"This is undoubtedly a shocking event for all of us. It is one of the major challenges Pertamina faces," he said.
Simon added that Pertamina is not just a national asset but also the lifeline of the Indonesian people. Therefore, Pertamina must be protected together.
Regarding product quality, Simon explained that the test results conducted by Lemigas on 75 Gasoline samples with various RON levels have been released and confirmed that Pertamina’s fuel products comply with the specifications set by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Pertamina remains committed to providing high-quality products for the public.
"As the top leader, I will stand at the forefront to ensure that Pertamina becomes a source of pride and trust for the Indonesian people," he stated.
